Xavi wants Cucurella back at Barcelona

Barcelona are eyeing a move for a left-back, with Jordi Alba looking set to leave the club and Marcos Alonso not performing to the club’s expectations.

With Alejandro Balde currently the only option, Barcelona are looking to sign another left-back who could increase competition in that position.

As El Nacional writes, Barcelona manager Xavi wants Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella.

Cucurella is a product of Barcelona’s youth academy, so it is fitting that he returns to the team where he began his first football lessons.
