Leeds United have been tipped to one day sign Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland, who has lit up the Bundesliga since his move from Red Bull Salzburg last summer.
The striker, of course, was born in Leeds and is the son of Alf-Inge Haaland, who featured for the Whites from 1997 to 2000 during the club’s heyday in the Premier League.
Even with their top-tier status at the moment, there is little to no chance of the forward making the switch to Elland Road when he does eventually leave Germany for pastures new. But former Leeds’ goalkeeper Paul Robinson believes there will be a moment late in the 20-year-old’s career for the West Yorkshire club to pounce.
