Tuchel interested in taking charge of Tottenham

Thomas Tuchel would be interested in the Tottenham job if Antonio Conte leaves the club in the coming months, despite his links to Chelsea.

Conte’s position has come under scrutiny following a poor run of performances and results, including Sunday’s defeat to Arsenal, which left Spurs 14 points adrift of the Premier League leaders.

The Italian has consistently refused to continue with Spurs beyond the current season, when his contract expires, but the club have an option to extend his deal by 12 months.

Tuchel is out of work after being sacked by Chelsea in September last year and is currently enjoying a break from football.

But he is now ready to return to the game and prepared to listen to offers from big clubs.
