Liverpool have suffered their first defeat in the group stage of the Conference League.
“Reds” were defeated on the trip by Toulouse with the result 3:2.
That the English would have a hard time was also seen from the formation, as Jurgen Klopp had decided to rest the first team for this match.
The home side managed to take the lead in the 36th minute when Donnum scored.
As the second half began, Klopp made three substitutions, including Salah, Arnold and Szoboszlai in the game.
But, Toulouse continued with a good game and doubled the lead in the 58th minute, when Dallinga scored.
In the 74th minute, Casseres scored an own goal to narrow his team’s lead.
But, just two minutes later, Toulouse scored again for 3:1 through Magri, thus sealing the victory tonight.
All the visitors did until the end was score the second goal through Jota in the 89th minute.
Despite the defeat, Liverpool continue to lead Group E with nine points, while Toulouse are now second with seven points in total.
