The world’s best coach is Carlo Ancelotti

Ancelotti has been named the best club coach in the world in 2022 by the IFFHS, the award he receives for the third time in his career

Carlo Ancelotti has been named the best club coach in the world for 2022 by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).

The Italian coach dominated the competition with Real Madrid last season, winning La Liga, the Champions League and the Spanish Super Cup trophy, before also winning the UEFA Super Cup.

Ancelotti won by a large margin

Ancelotti reached close to 245 points, which is 200 more than Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola, who was second.

The top three was completed by Walid Regragui, who won the CAF Champions League with Wydad Casablanca.

This is the first time that Ancelotti has won the above-mentioned award, having previously won it as the best coach in clubs in 2007, when he managed AC Milan, and in 2014, when he won the Champions League with Real Madrid.

At the moment, he is in second place this season with Los Blancos, and his contract is expected to expire on June 30, 2024.
