The historical record in the Champions League slipped from Camarda’s hands: VAR set me up.

Francesco Camarda broke Juventus’ Mois Ken’s record as the youngest Italian player to play in a Champions League match at the age of 16 years and 226 days.
The Milan striker found time to score, but the goal was disallowed because he was offside. After the game, he stated, “The record makes me very proud, but it inspires me to do more and strive to make evenings like this happen more often.”

“Goal? I am at a loss for words to explain the most intense feeling I have ever experienced. VAR then made a joke about me. I am disappointed, but football is like that. Since I was a young child, I had dreamed about these nights. A night like this is what every football player dreams about. You dream about the matches with your pals from the neighbourhood at first, but eventually they come true. I had always wanted to work in my favourite sport”.
