Cristiano Ronaldo can join a new club in the next few hours.
The Portuguese star seems to have reached an agreement with the Arab club, Al Nassr.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is currently in Dubai and could soon make his way to Riyadh to make the Arab club’s dream come true.
According to the Spanish media “Marca”, “CR7” will sign with Al Nassr and with Saudi Arabia until 2030.
Of them, two and a half years as a player, where he will be paid 200 million dollars per year, and the rest of the contract will be as an ambassador for the Arab country’s candidacy, together with Egypt and Greece for the organization of the 2030 World Cup.
After parting ways with Manchester United, who he blasted in an interview last month, the 37-year-old was looking for a European club that plays in the Champions League, but there was no interest from such clubs.
Therefore, he has surrendered and decided to go where they want him the most, even though there is also an offer from the MLS league in the USA, respectively from the Inter Miami club.
To make room for Ronaldo, Al Nassr must remove three players, to level the financial control.
Masharipov and Pitty Martínez are two candidates to leave the club, but also Aboubakar.
Signing with Al Nassr would mean goodbye to elite football for Cristiano Ronaldo.
He is considered one of the best football players in the history of football.
