Ronaldo denies the news that he has signed with the Al-Nassr team

Cristiano Ronaldo has spoken after reports that he has reached an agreement with the Saudi Arabian team, Al-Nassr, where he would receive 400 million euros for two seasons.

It has been reported that the 37-year-old chose the Saudi Arabian side because they offered him €200 million a year, signing a two-year deal starting on January 1, 2023. However, speaking to the media after the win Portugal’s 6-1 thrashing of Switzerland in the World Cup round of 16 on Tuesday night, Ronaldo was quick to dismiss the news.

Ramos has scored more goals for Portugal in a direct elimination phase within 17 minutes (1) than Ronaldo has done with 514 minutes of play in the direct elimination phase (0).

Tuesday’s win sees Portugal face Morocco in the quarter-finals, who beat Spain on penalties.
