According to “SPORT”, the footballer’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has already started talks with the Catalans about a possible move.
The Spanish representative can move to Camp Nou as a free agent in the summer, as his current contract with Real Madrid expires on June 30.
Barcelona has also been linked to the 27-year-old, whom they intend to snatch from Real with zero parameters.
There have been reports about the possibility of the winger renewing his contract with “Los Blancos”, but so far there is nothing concrete.
On the other hand, Marco Asensio has been part of Real Madrid since 2015. He has so far registered a total of 257 appearances in all competitions, scoring 52 goals and adding 29 assists.
