Trevoh Chalobah has often been linked with a move to Serie A and now Napoli have set their sights on the Chelsea centre-back.
He has been repeatedly rated as a target for a number of Italian clubs in recent years, including Inter, Milan and most recently Roma.
In the summer, the England international appeared to open the door to a move to Serie A in the future.
Chalobah has not played a single minute for Chelsea this season, missing more than four months with a thigh injury. Despite a contract that runs until June 2028, he is not expected to be part of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans.
As reported by “Corriere dello Sport”, Napoli are interested in signing the 24-year-old this month in order to strengthen the defense of Walter Mazzarri. The club is concerned about their position in the Serie A table and is working to strengthen the squad to return to positive results.
Trevoh Chalobah has made a total of 63 appearances for Chelsea since breaking into the first team in 2021, scoring four goals and providing one assist.
