Milan extends a new contract with Bennacer

Ismael Bennacer has signed a new contract with Milan, renewing the contract with the club until June 2027

The 25-year-old midfielder from Algeria joined the Reds in the summer of 2019 from Empoli for 17.2 million euros and has become one of Stefano Pioli’s key players with the team from the capital of Lombardy. Bennacer is one of the main footballers where he has formed a very good midfield partnership with Sandro Tonali.

As confirmed by the club, Bennacer has now signed a contract renewal with Milan, where he will be with them until June 2027. The new contract will see him earn 4.2 million euros net per season plus another 300,000 bonuses. The clause of 50 million euros can only be active in the summer of 2024.

Bennacer has made 129 appearances in all competitions for Milan, scoring four goals and providing eight assists. He has aroused the interest of a large number of clubs in Europe, but he likes Liverpool and Manchester United the most.
