Manchester United has completed the transfer of Altay Bayindir from Fenerbahçe.
The Turkish goalkeeper has signed a contract valid until the summer of 2027, with an option to extend the cooperation for one more year.
Bayindir has registered 166 career appearances, keeping 53 clean sheets. He counts five appearances with the Turkish National Team.
“It is a great honor to join Manchester United and become the first Turkish player to represent this incredible club. I have a passion for success and I will give everything to help this special group of players to achieve our ambitions”, said the 25-year-old after signing for the “Red Devils”.
“I can’t wait to start working with such an experienced goalkeeping unit. We will support each other and drive high standards every day so that each of us is ready to perform whenever we are called upon,” stated Bayindir.
