The battle to sign West Ham star Declan Rice is heating up with Graeme Bailey explaining to TEAMtalk why Manchester City should now be considered favorites to sign the England midfielder.
Rice made his professional debut with the Hammers in the 2016/17 season and has now established himself as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.
With 39 caps for England, he is also a regular in the Three Lions squad under Gareth Southgate.
However, his deal with West Ham is due to expire in the summer of 2024 and his future looks increasingly away from the London Stadium.
To that end, Rice himself admits that he wants to test himself at a higher level.
And with almost all of his Three Lions teammates playing regular football in the Champions League, Rice is apparently looking for a move away.
