Romelu Lukaku is training with Chelsea’s under-21s while reports in England say he has yet to speak to manager Mauricio Pochettino
According to The Telegraph, the 30-year-old and Chelsea are running out of options for his future, with moves to Al-Hilal and Inter Milan falling through earlier this summer. The Blues were hoping for an agreement with Juventus, in a transfer that would make the transition of Dusan Vlahovic to the opposite side. However, these talks were difficult and appear to have failed.
Juve first offer two footballers and money for Lukaku. The first is said to have involved Chelsea paying £42m and sending Lukaku to Turin and Vlahovic to London. Juve then reduced this amount to £30 million but the Blues still rejected it.
It is understood that Lukaku has not even spoken to new Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino as he continues to train apart from the first team in West London.
Juventus fans have already spoken out against the Belgian’s transfer this summer, with his relationship not good with Inter and Chelsea fans either.
With the summer transfer window set to close in less than 10 days, Chelsea and Romelu must find a solution that frees up funds for this team and eliminates disputes.
