Liverpool managed to score a narrow win against Wolves 1-0 to progress to the fourth round of the FA Cup. The only goal in this match was scored by Harvey Elliott (13′). This was Liverpool’s second game against Wolves after a 2-2 draw in the first leg at Anfield
Liverpool has finally returned to victory by winning at Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton with a score of 0-1.
The first moment in this match was that of the first goal.
Harvey Elliott found a big space in the defense of Wolves where he made a powerful shot which ended up in the net and the result was 1-0 for Liverpool.
It was a beautiful goal scored by the Englishman in the 13th minute of the match.
Three minutes later Liverpool could have doubled the lead with Tsimikas but his shot ended up too close to the top post.
Wolves went for a penalty in the 25th minute but the referee didn’t think so, while a goal scored in the 36th minute by Liverpool’s Carvalho was disallowed for offside.
Wolves had their best chance in the 40th minute to equalize but Adama Traore missed a golden scoring opportunity as his shot went wide of the right post of Liverpool’s gate.
The referee continued the game even though in the 51st minute a Wolves player touched the ball with his hand in the area, but he decided to continue the game.
By the end of the game Liverpool managed to manage the game very well and won it. This victory for the Reds comes after three games without a win, losing two games in the Premier League and drawing with Wolves in the first leg of the FA Cup.
In the fourth round, Liverpool will face Brighton, who beat them at the weekend with a score of 3-0.
