Inter is sending six footballers to Qatar

Reports in Italy indicate that France striker Marcus Thuram is not the only player that Inter are following in Qatar.

The Serie A giants are looking to strengthen their squad in January but looking for players who don’t cost you too much.

Thuram, who is out of contract in June, is one of their primary targets and sporting director Piero Ausilio has landed in Qatar to escort Lilian’s son into action with France.

The Gazzetta reported last week that Thuram’s potential move to Inter in January could come in the event of a player leaving the Meazza in the summer, with Romelu Lukaku possibly on that list due to missing the first half of the season due to injuries.

As Calciomercato.com writes, more players are on Inter’s agenda, as Ausilio will use his journey to follow several targets. Among them is USA and Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah and Fabian Rieder, the Swiss who is under contract with Young Boys.

Ecuadorian Piero Hincapié, who started in the opening match of the World Cup against Qatar on Sunday, could be part of a bargain with Bayer Leverkusen, where Inter intends to involve Robin Gosens in this transfer.

Croatian Borna Sosa (Stuttgart) and American Antonee Robinson, who is under contract with Fulham, are some of the other options to replace Gosens if the German leaves in January.
