Inter does not increase Skriniar’s salary

Inter has informed Milan Skriniar and his agents that they will not increase the amount of money for the new contract.

La Gazzetta dello Sport has pointed out that the Black Panthers’ latest offer for the 27-year-old Slovakian defender is worth around six million euros per season, which would make him one of the highest paid players in their squad.

Paris Saint-Germain have already offered him a contract worth 7.5 million euros per season plus bonuses, meaning he would receive around nine million euros per season.

The Slovakian defender’s agents have asked Inter to increase the offer to 7/7.5 million euros, including bonuses, but the club has made it clear that they do not have the budget for this salary.

The ball is now in Skriniar’s court and the player will meet with his agent in the coming days and clarify the situation. After that, they will inform Inter about the 27-year-old’s decision.

Skriniar’s contract with Inter ends at the end of this season and the club is anxiously waiting for the Slovak’s next move.
