Galtier confirms that negotiations to extend Messi’s contract are ongoing

Christophe Galtier has confirmed that negotiations are continuing for the extension of Lionel Messi’s contract.

The coach of Paris Saint-Germain appeared today at the press conference, the day before the match against Angers, where, among other things, he spoke about the Argentine attacker.

“There are discussions, the club leaders have spoken to Leo on the subject of an extension – I don’t know at what stage it is,” he said initially.

“Leo seems happy to be in Paris,” added Galtier.

Earlier it was reported that the parties are in talks to extend the cooperation for at least one more season.

The 35-year-old’s current contract with the Parisians expires at the end of this season.
