Ousmane Dembele has decided that any deal that will take him to Paris Saint-Germain will not include the activation of his release clause today.
The Parisians can transfer the Frenchman for 50 million euros before 00:00 tonight, when his release clause increases from 50 to 100 million euros.
However, of those 50 million euros, half of them would be due to Dembele and his agent, Moussa Sissoko.
But, the 26-year-old is said to not want to leave Barcelona on “bad terms” and has asked the two clubs to reach an agreement for him.
It’s worth noting that he only has one year left on his contract.
According to “Mundo Deportivo”, the French international has been given the official power to negotiate on behalf of Barcelona and reach an agreement that they consider acceptable in the next five days.
As things stand, he will travel to Las Vegas with the team for the final preseason friendly, as it remains to be seen in the next five days how things will play out with his situation.
