The future of the Belgian footballer is up in the air.
One of the biggest names in soccer who will experience fate next year in the MLS could be Eden Hazard. The striker of Real Madrid is not adapting to the European champions, while he has gone for good performances with the Belgian national team during the World Cup in Qatar.
He now has to think about his future at club level after he decided to retire from his career in the national team and his future is in a new league.
MLS, a real possibility
“If Real Madrid tell me to leave in the summer, I will accept. In the summer it is possible for me to leave, in the winter it is impossible”, he said in a recent interview for Marca.
“I only have one year of contract and it is the club’s decision on how to proceed.”
If Los Blancos decide to end Hazard’s adventure in Spain, the door to move to America will open for him.
MLS is becoming an attractive market for soccer players, especially for those whose careers are coming to an end.
In all likelihood, Eden Hazard will no longer be able to play at the highest levels of soccer, so he sees the move to MLS as a new challenge that allows him a fresh start, making him forget how faster than the last few years he had at Real Madrid.
