Chelsea’s performance remains unchanged as they continue to lose to Fulham

Chelsea lost 2-1 to Fulham at Craven Cottage continuing their poor form and winless run into the New Year. Fulham on the other hand achieved a great victory and have now risen to sixth place in the Premier League. Willian (25′) and Carlos Vinicius (73′) scored for the locals, while Koulibaly (47′) scored his own goal for Chelsea.

Chelsea does not know how to play in the Premier League.

After being defeated by City in the FA Cup, they have now been beaten 2-1 by Fulham to further deepen their crisis.

Chelsea started the better and Lewis Hall came close to scoring in the third minute but his shot went wide of the home side’s left post.

Fulham’s Carlos Vinicius first threatened the Chelsea gate but was unlucky with his shot which ended up just wide of Kepa’s left post.

Newcomer to Chelsea, Joao Felix was close to scoring in the 10th minute but he also missed the target.

The challenge would open in the 25th minute.

Former Chelsea player Willian took a good ball into the area and fired to his right to score for Fulham. Of course he did not celebrate the goal.

Chelsea’s Hall again came close to leveling the score in the 35th minute of the match until Felix also had another chance for Chelsea in the 40th minute.

The equalizer came in the 47th minute. Mason Mount executed a free kick and after a rush in the area, defender Kalidou Koulibaly was the best and scored a goal.

But things became more difficult for Chelsea in the following minutes.

Newly transferred to the Blues Joao Felix had a hard tackle with his heels to be punished with a straight red card in his debut game in the Chelsea shirt.

Chelsea will do it again with a London team at the weekend, where they will play against Crystal Palace while Fulham will play as guests of Newcastle United, who are in third place.
