Chelsea have reached the final of the EFL Cup, also known as the Carabao Cup.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side eliminated Championship side Middlesbrough in the semi-final stage of this competition tonight.
Chelsea secured the final by overturning the result from the first match, in which they were defeated 1:0.
“Blues” tonight at “Stamford Bridge” won with a convincing result 6:1.
Jonathan Howson (15? own goal), Enzo Fernandez (29?), Axel Disasi (36?), Cole Palmer (42?, 77?) and Noni Madueke (81?) were the authors of the Londoners’ winning goals.
The only goal for Middlesbrough was scored by Morgan Rogers (88?).
Chelsea will meet Liverpool or Fulham in the final. These two teams will play the second semi-final match on Wednesday night at Craven Cottage.
The first match was won by “Reds” with the result 2:1.
