Joao Cancelo is hoping to celebrate two league titles this year, with Manchester City and Bayern Munich both working to win the titles in their respective countries.
The full-back joined Bayern on loan from City in January and is hoping to win the Bundesliga title this season. At the same time, City are still in the race to win the Premier League, so at the end of the season he can win both medals and he does not rule out that he can win two medals and his possible return to England.
Asked if he expects to celebrate the Premier League title, Cancelo gave an interview to Jogo. “I hope so. I created a second family there. Bernardo (Silva) has made him the best friend, he is the person I miss the most there. He was my psychologist. When something went wrong, he was the person they talked to. Ruben (Dias) too, but my relationship with Bernardo is very good, even on the pitch, we have made good connections when we played in the same team. He is a person I will be with all my life”, he said.
“Obviously, in England I will be cheering for them and I hope they win at the end of the season in England and another one in Germany. The City group is spectacular, the best I’ve played, as a group and as a person I’ve created friendships”.

Cancelo made 17 Premier League appearances this season before being ruled out by Pep Guardiola and loaned out to Bayern. The 28-year-old has played five times for Bayern since moving to Germany. The Portuguese star will also be in action tonight when Bayern plays against Union Berlin in the Bundesliga.
