Milan will soon sit down with Ismael Bennacer’s agents to discuss his new contract and the Algerian midfielder has reportedly made his demands clear.
The 24-year-old has sacked his agent Moussa Sissoko, who pushed him to leave for another club in the summer, and hired Enzo Raiolo to represent him in new talks with the Reds. Bennacer seems to like staying at Milan but they will have to increase his salary a bit.
According to TMW, Bennacer’s current offer is around €3m per season, but the 24-year-old has asked for the same salary as his team-mate Theo Hernandez, who earns €4m plus bonuses.
The Algerian midfielder is happy in the Lombardy capital and wants to sign a new contract but that would require talks on a deal, which would most likely keep him at the club until 2027.
