Barcelona close to the transfer of Julian Araujo

Barcelona are very close to signing Julian Araujo in the final hours of the winter transfer window.

The transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, has announced that the Catalan club is close to an agreement with LA Galaxy.

Araujo has agreed to personal terms and is now said to be awaiting final approval.

The 21-year-old plays in the right-back position. He is seen as a replacement for Hector Bellerin, who is completing his transfer to Sporting Lisbon.

Araujo has made a total of 109 appearances with LA Galaxy so far, scoring two goals and contributing 14 assists.
