Ancelotti’s record leaves behind the former legendary coach of Manchester United

The victory of Real Madrid against Braga in “Santiago Bernabéu” not only guaranteed the Spanish team the qualification to the 1/8 stage of the Champions League, but also set a new record of victories for the coach of “Los Blancos”.

Carlo Ancelotti has surpassed Sir Alex Ferguson’s record as the most successful manager in Europe’s biggest club competition. There are now 116 victories for the Italian coach, while the former coach of Manchester United has won 115 times.

Real Madrid and Milan are the clubs with which Ancelotti won the most in the Champions League: 40 victories with the Spanish and 42 with the Italians. It is interesting that the coach even lifted the trophy twice with both teams.

In third place, with 107 wins, comes the current coach of Manchester City, Pep Guardiola, who threatens to reach the top soon. Next comes former Arsenal coach Arsène Wenger with 103 wins and finally Portuguese coach José Mourinho with 81 wins.
