Record, assists and “fights” with journalists, Modric does it all

Luka Modric never gets old! Now in his forties, the Croatian played a key role in Real Madrid’s 2-1 victory against Vigo on Saturday. He passed the ball to Vinicius for the goal (assist), and the Brazilian was able to finish the Croatian’s pass.
Up to the very end, Real Madrid’s 2-1 goal stayed the same.
However, the encounter in Vigo was a unique experience for Luka Modric. Because the Croatian has been playing for “Los Blancos” since Saturday, making him the oldest player to do so. He has left everyone behind, even Pushkash, one of this club’s stalwarts, in 39 years and 40 days. This record was held by the Hungarian for 39 years and 36 days, starting in 1966. A unique accomplishment for the Croatian midfielder, who also contributed an assist and won.
