Liverpool are continuing their efforts to transfer Rodrygo.
The English giant is reported to have sent the second offer for the Brazilian, after Real Madrid rejected the first.
According to “El Nacional”, Liverpool has now made an offer of 80 million euros.
The first offer was worth 60 million euros.
However, it is not believed that “Los Blancos” will accept the second offer, since their president, Florentino Perez, is said to be asking for at least 100 million euros for the sale of Rodrygo.
The 23-year-old has a contract with the club from Madrid valid until June 30, 2028.
So far this season, he has made 41 appearances in all competitions, contributing 13 goals and eight assists.
Real Madrid bought Rodrygo in 2019 from Santos for 45 million euros.
