Mbappe decides to leave PSG

Kylian Mbappe is said to have decided to finally leave Paris Saint-Germain, at the end of this edition even when his contract expires.

But signing him will be far from easy financially for his new club.

The Frenchman is demanding an insane €125 million signing bonus to join Real Madrid when his contract expires in June.

If Mbappe leaves PSG in June, he will do so as a free agent with Real not obligated to pay any transfer fees.

However, the bonus will be the biggest ever paid to a player on a free transfer in football history if Florentino Perez agrees.

Mbappe’s wage demands are also steep when compared to what other Real Madrid players currently earn.

Real Madrid’s top scorer Toni Kroos earns less than €15 million net per season.

Mbappe is asking for more than three times that, which is not up to his current salary at PSG.

In the 26 appearances of this edition in all competitions, Mbappe has scored 28 goals and provided six assists.
