Manchester City has reached the final of the Club World Cup, a competition in which it is participating for the first time.
The team led by Pep Guardiola triumphed tonight in the semi-finals against the Japanese team, Urawa Reds.
The match held at the “King Abdullah Sports City” stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, ended with a score of 0:3.
Marius Hoibraaten (45+1′ own goal), Mateo Kovacic (52′) and Bernardo Silva (59′) scored the winning goals for the reigning European champions.
Manchester City will meet the Brazilian team, Fluminense, in the final.
The final will take place on December 22.
