No team in any of Europe’s top five leagues has conceded fewer goals than Inter so far in the 2032/24 season.
Also, no other goaltender in the five major leagues has kept more shutouts than Yann Sommer.
In Serie A, Inter have conceded only seven goals from 16 matches. This figure is less than half the number of goals conceded by Premier League leaders Arsenal (15). Liverpool also have 15 goals conceded. However, it should be noted that one more round was played in the Premier League.
In France, meanwhile, Nice have conceded the fewest goals in Ligue 1 (9), while Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga have conceded 12 goals so far, after 15 rounds played there.
Real Madrid in La Liga have also conceded 12 goals so far this season. 17 rounds have been played in the Spanish football elite.
By comparison within Italy, Napoli had conceded 13 goals from the first 16 games of the Serie A season on their way to the latest title. The Neapolitans ended the season with a total of 26 goals conceded.
Inter and main goalkeeper Yann Sommer have also kept the most clean sheets in Europe’s top five leagues – 11 times.
