“The last dance”, Messi and Ronaldo will face each other on February 1

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo will face off again, possibly for the last time in their careers.

Inter Miami confirmed tonight that it will participate in the Riyadh Season Cup, a news that was also announced by the Saudi authorities on November 21, as part of the preseason phase of the American club.

Inter Miami will play Al-Hilal on January 29, 2024, and then, on February 1, they will face Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr, who is currently the top scorer in the Saudi Pro League.

Messi and Ronaldo have faced each other 35 times with their clubs and national teams.

Messi has won 16 times, while Ronaldo has won 10 times, while 9 other matches between them have ended in a draw.

Messi scored 21 goals and provided 12 assists in those matches.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo has 20 goals and 1 assist in duels with Messi, the vast majority of which were in “El Clasico”, Real Madrid – Barcelona.

Considering their advanced age and the fact that one plays in the United States of America and the other in Saudi Arabia, this could be the last meeting between two of the best players in the history of football.
