Inter are reportedly considering selling Denzel Dumfries to Manchester United or Chelsea in the summer, already working on a replacement for Tajon Buchanan.
The Nerazzurri have made a habit of signing players, doubling or even tripling their transfer fee in one year and then selling them on for a massive profit.
Dumfries was Achraf Hakimi’s replacement following his sale to Paris Saint-Germain and had been on track to follow a similar career path until poor form after the 2022 World Cup.
Fearing they would not get a good enough money by selling, Dumfries held on and has rediscovered his form with two goals and four assists in 12 appearances this season.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the plan is to sell Dumfries to a Premier League side in the summer, with Manchester United and Chelsea the favorites.
He was bought by PSV Eindhoven in 2021 for 14.25 million euros and is expected to be sold for at least 40 million euros.
