Real Madrid CF and Rodrygo have agreed to extend the player’s contract, which remains tied to the club until June 30, 2028.
Rodrygo arrived at Real Madrid in 2019, when he was just 18 years old. He made his debut with Real Madrid Castilla on 14 September and on 25 September scored his first goal on his official debut with Real Madrid.
In his five seasons defending the jersey of the first team, he played 179 games, in which he scored 39 goals and won 8 titles: 1 Champions League, 1 Club World Cup, 1 European Super Cup, 2 Leagues, 1 Copa del Rey and 2 Spanish Super Cups.
At the age of 22, Rodrygo has been decisive in many of the titles that Real Madrid have won in recent seasons.
On the way to the Fourteenth European Cup, Rodrygo scored several goals that allowed Real Madrid to overcome those qualifying rounds that are now part of “Los Blancos” history.
In the team’s last title, Copa del Rey 2023 in Seville, he scored the two winning goals (2-1) and was the MVP of the final.
