Turkey is the next national team to qualify for the European Championship “Euro 2024”.
The Turkish national team scored a convincing victory against Latvia tonight.
The match played at the “Konya Buyuksehir Belediye” stadium with the result 4:0.
Yunus Akgun (58′), Cenk Tosun (83′, 90+2′) and Kerem Akturkoglu (87′) scored the winning goals for the national team led by Vincenzo Montella.
After this victory, Turkey has 16 points and leads Group D, thus securing a place in “Euro 2024”.
The Turks will play just one more match until the end of the qualifying cycle, against Wales on November 21.
Turkey has a difference of six points with two other positions.
