AC Milan continued with victories in Serie A until tonight they defeated Atalanta with a score of 2-0. Musso (25′ own goal), Messias (86′) was the only goal scored in this match
AC Milan is continuing with a 1-0 win in Serie A, which is slowly returning the Reds to the right path to qualify for Europe, after a not so good series at the beginning of the year.
The Reds unlocked the result in the 25th minute.
Theo Hernandez makes a strong shot and the ball after hitting the post turns into the back of Juan Musso (Atalanta’s goalkeeper) and then ends up in the net.
Leao had the next opportunity to score for Milan in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the outside post of the opposing gate.
The 71st minute marked an ideal opportunity for Junior Messias to score a goal but the ball ended up over the gate.
Junior Messias would however score a goal in the 86th minute where he received a good ball from Rafael Leao.
This victory sends Milan to the quota of 43 points, as much as Inter has, but which has a better goal difference and is in second place. Whereas AC Milan and Inter have 18 points less than Napoli, which is in first place with 65 points after 24 rounds of Serie A in Italy.
In the next match, Milan have work with AFC Fiorentina as guests, while Atalanta will play against Udinese at home.
