Brazilian newspaper O Globo claims that Brazil are willing to wait until the summer to appoint Carlo Ancelotti as the new coach of the Brazilian national team.
The role is currently vacant following the decision of previous manager Tite to leave following their World Cup quarter-final elimination in Qatar.
O Globo reports that the Brazilian FA would be willing to wait until June to hire Ancelotti, who wants to finish the season with Real Madrid.
Negotiations are progressing and a meeting is planned between Ednaldo Rodrigues, the FA president, and Los Blancos boss Florentino Perez.
Ancelotti’s current contract with Real Madrid expires in 2024 and his return last season was a success, leading the club to the La Liga and Champions League titles.
