PSG makes a mistake again, they are held to a draw by Reims

Paris Saint-Germain have registered their second consecutive match without a win in Ligue 1.

After last week’s loss to Rennes, the reigning champions were held to a draw by Reims tonight in the 20th game of the week.

The match held at “Parc des Princes” ended with the result 1:1.

The Parisians were the first to take the lead with the goal scored by Neymar, in the 51st minute.

However, things became difficult for Christoph Galtier’s side after eight minutes as Marco Verratti was sent off with a straight red card.

PSG did not manage to keep the lead until the end, when Florian Balogun appeared on the scene to secure a point for his team. The loanee from Arsenal scored in the sixth extra minute (90+6′).

After this draw, Paris Saint-Germain has 48 points and continues to be first in the table, but now only three points more than Lens.

Reims is in 11th position with 26 points.
