Several reports in Italy say that Arsenal have been alerted to the possibility of a January transfer for Nicolo Zaniolo
La Repubblica and Il Corriere della Sera write that the Gunners want to bring Zaniolo to London during the winter window.
Corriere della Sera’s article, written by transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, says that Roma values Zaniolo at between 30-40 million euros.
The Italian has a contract that expires in June 2024 and talks about a possible contract extension have not yet started.
His agent, Claudio Vigorelli, gave some information at the end of December, adding that he will ask for a salary for him in line with the transfer fee during the summer.
Zaniolo was booed by his fans during the Coppa Italia match against Genoa which they won 1-0 last week but he was defended by Mourinho after the game. Zaniolo (23) has scored two goals in 17 appearances this season.
He debuted for the senior team in 2019 and scored two goals in 11 appearances with the Azzurri.
