Luis Enrique is the coach that the Brazilian national team wants to put in charge of their team.

Led by the now-departed Tite, they were knocked out in the quarter-finals of Qatar 2022. Former Barcelona coach Luis Enrique is now the main favorite to take over at the start of 2023.

The president of the Brazilian Federation, Ednaldo Rodrigues, returns to work today (Thursday) after being on vacation. Among the urgent issues to be resolved is the name of the new coach.

His desire has been Pep Guardiola, but the Catalan coach is not ready to leave Manchester City, who thinks he already has the complete squad and wants to try to win the Champions League.

Then he tried Ancelotti, but the Italian technician has no intention of leaving Real Madrid. It is now Luis Enrique’s turn, who is without a team after leaving the Spanish national team. He is praised for his courage to use youth on the pitch, which is a key element in the renewal process because Brazil has an excellent crop of under-20s.
