Inter defender Stefan de Vrij is considering a new contract, but at the same time he has attracted interest from the likes of Atletico Madrid, Aston Villa and Leicester City.
The defender is under contract until the end of the current season and has been offered a new contract to stay at the San Siro, for a lower salary.
It is believed that their proposal is 3.5 euros per season for two years with an option to extend for a third year, while De Vrij wants the same salary, which is 4.2 million euros per season.
According to what FCInterNews.it reports,if he doesn’t want this new deal, then several teams outside of Italy are interested in De Vrij, especially since he will be a free agent in June.
Atletico Madrid, Aston Villa and Leicester City are reported to have contracted his agent, Federico Pastorello, to seek information on his situation.
De Vrij joined Inter on a free transfer from Lazio in 2018.
