Paul Pogba is finally on his way back from the knee injury he suffered in July and hopes to make his debut for Juventus in January.
The midfielder returned to Turin during the summer as a free agent from Manchester United, but has not played a competitive match for the Whites’ team.
He damaged the meniscus of his knee during training in July and initially treated it with folk medicine but it failed to give the right results and he went into surgery.
He did this so that he could play for France in the World Cup, but another muscle problem prevented him from playing.
Pogba is working with a physiotherapist in Miami during his holiday but La Gazzetta dello Sport believe he has at least begun to fully regain his fitness.
Serie A resumes on January 4 and Pogba is reported to be back on the pitch with Napoli on January 13, against Napoli who are in a good position to win the title.
In the same time. The squad will meet at the training ground in Continassa tomorrow and there the club doctors will be able to give an update on Pogba’s condition.
