Japan shocks by winning against Germany in the World Cup

Another real drama took place at the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

Germany has been defeated by Japan in the first round of group E with a 1:2 reversal.

The Germans took the lead in the 33rd minute when Gundogan scored from the penalty spot.

In the dying seconds of the first half, Germany scored again through Kai Havertz, but the goal was disallowed by VAR for offside.

And the second half was a completely different game. The substitutions made by Japanese coach Moriyasu paid off as their two goals came from substitutes in the second half.

First, Doan equalized in the 75th minute, and eight minutes later Asano scored the goal that is worth three points for the Japanese team.

With this victory, Japan now temporarily leads Group E with three points, while Germany remains last with zero points.

Spain and Costa Rica are also part of this group.
