Guardiola officially extends his agreement with City

Manchester City have confirmed that Pep Guardiola has signed a two-year contract with the club.

Pep Guardiola has signed a contract with the club from the Etihad that will keep him at the club until 2025.

Guardiola’s time at City is loaded with success. He has so far won 11 trophies, including four Premier League titles.

In all competitions he has won 271 out of 374 matches, having a match win percentage of 72.4 per cent. City have scored 921 goals during this period, with an average of 2.46 goals per game.

“I am pleased to announce that Pep’s journey with Manchester City continues. He has already contributed a lot to the success and organization of this club and it is exciting to think what can be done in the future given the energy, hunger and ambition he has clearly shown,” said club Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak.

Guardiola has also expressed his satisfaction that he will be the manager of City until 2025.

“I am very happy that he will stay at Manchester City for two more years,” he said.

“I can’t say thank you enough to everyone at this club for believing in me. I am happy and relaxed to be here. I will do everything to do my job as well as I can”, said Pep Guardiola.
