Leandro Paredes left Paris Saint-Germain for Juventus in what seemed like a good move in the summer but things haven’t gone according to plan for the Argentine
The 28-year-old midfielder joined the Whites on a loan deal with an obligation to buy him in the summer, to add creative options to Massimiliano Allegri’s midfield. Unfortunately for Paredes, he has not started for Juventus since the 1-0 loss against Monza and has started packing his bags to leave Turin.
As La Gazzetta dello Sport reports, Juventus do not seem to be signing Paredes on a permanent deal and it is expected that the 28-year-old will return to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.
The condition included in their loan deal was qualification for the last 16 in the Champions League, meaning the Whites are no longer obliged to pay €27.8 million to the French side.
Paredes has made only one assist in 13 appearances for Allegri this season.
