Benzema might not play in France’s opening World Cup game

Karim Benzema is expected to miss the French National Team in the first match at the World Cup “Qatar 2022”.

The Frenchman, who has been absent from Real Madrid’s recent matches, has yet to train with the national team – with just a few days to go until the start of the tournament.

Benzema has trained only individually, leaving out other activities with the team.

And, according to GFFN, the 34-year-old looks unlikely to be ready for France’s first match against Australia on November 22.

If the striker ends up missing this match, he will be given a total of 9 days to prepare for the November 26 match against Denmark.

France plays its last group game on November 30, against Tunisia.
